Okay We just finished watching the opening Ceremonies of the Olympics and who cried besides me at the end, when the man ran around the top of the "Bird Nest" stadium? Come on, admit it!
and then He lit the huge torch and then the fireworks! My chest started heaving up and down like it does when I see something very touching and great!
Moving things like that always get to me! Loved it! The song they played I have on the Blog right now. This is one of my favorite songs, David Cook, " The time of my life." When I watch my son play football, or lift weights or go to his Powerlifting meets, I think of this song. Its so awesome about working hard towards a goal and achieving it and all the possibilities about pushing yourself so hard. I just love it. That's why the OLYMPICS are so amazing! They are about persevering and pushing yourself beyond your limits. As my motto is "NO GUTS, NO GLORY!" I just love the Olympics!
