Well, our boys did not win their game against Abilene Wylie. The Final score was 39-21 Wylie and Burkburnett respectively. I will say the boys played their hearts out. All of them, from our quarterback Canon Cornelius to Lineman Lorenzo Barnes, to our son Scott Dobbins (he made several tackles, I lost count) to Robert Blackmon, Steve Hill, Malachi Naef, WOW! I love to watch that boy run! to Tofte, Whitaker, Cozby, Oguleneye, etc etc etc. They all were amazing!!!
Of course they were disappointed, they really really wanted to win that game and title.
It was a great game at a beautiful stadium in Saginaw Tx, Here's to you guys!!! And a Big Thank you to all our Coahces, they were fantastic and espically Coach Scott Boswell, he truly knows how to inspire the boys and they love him! We all love you and you outdid yourselves! And Congrats to the Abilene Bulldogs, you had to step it up to beat our boys.
The Bulldogs are still the 3AAA Area Champions and threes always next year! Go DAWGS!
