I love this! My husband has been the US Airforce for 25 years. He recently pinned on Lt. Colonel and although he never went to war, (He just missed Desert Storm while in training) and he has been here at SAFB the past few years. But he would go TDY and our son would miss him terribly. Thats why this video really gets to me.
When Scott was a baby Bruce went to Korea for a few weeks and I fell down a flight of stairs while holding our son.
He was only a few weeks old and thank goodness I only sprained my ankle. I had to hop to the car and drive myself to the hospital. When I was falling down the stairs, I never let go of him and I threw myself backwards. The military let Bruce come home because I couldnt walk.

Just another reminder of what our troops and their families have had to endure for our country.
