I am in shock right now. I just learned on the Today show news, that a young girl received 2 days DETENTION for get this.... not skipping school... Not starting a food fight in the cafeteria, not being disrespectful to a teacher... Not even for chewing gum in class...
Get this... The Horrible crime this young lady comitted was.... SHE HUGGED A FRIEND IN THE HALLWAY!!! (and it wasnt even a real full hug, it was an arm around the shoulder and slight squeeze on a Friday afternoon to say goodbye for the weekend.

Now folks... really.... how sad is this? .. What message does this send? Our children cant pray in school anymore????? and they cant EVEN HUG each other????
For fear of punishment. But its okay to bring a semiautomatic gun to school and blow away half your class. and people will say you were "a troubled youth."

Scientist have proven that we need about 3 hugs a day to be healthy! Physical contact like a simple hug relieves stress, lowers blood pressure and improves morale!
