Hey Gang! Ive been gone since Friday and Wow, what a lot of emails you all have sent me!Ive been up since 5:30 reading them all (and just finished at 9:27 am!- That is 4 hours!)

Well for those of you who dont know, I did get 2 merits this year! It was with beautiful Melissa West and her adorable baby and the other was an art piece image I shot in New Mexico.
The judging were tough this year, but that seems to be the way it is lately.I've never seen a smaller display of prints hanging than this year, they just did not give out very many merits.
Im exctied to soon be one of them, Im working on becoming an affliated Juror and will be judging next year at an event in the summer.
Also, my husband and I had a great time on Saturday night. We met our friends, Sam and Lee Ann from Wichita Falls in North Dallas and celebrated my birthday at the Indian Palace Restaurant. Then they invited us to the Reunion Tower for dessert. It was a great time! Ive attached a photo I took from our table, where we had the best chocolate cake and yummy strawbery dacquiries.
It spins around slowly to give you a beautiful panoramic view of the city. The Mavericks were playing across the street and so there was lots of people around the Hyatt and in the Tower. It was a great energy and a great time!
I also celebrated my birthday while in Dallas! It was a lot of fun too! Thanks everyone!
I got lots of birthday hugs from a lot of my photographer friends.
Well I got to get to work now!
Got several photo sessions today and it was so great to be in Dallas for 6 days, but Im glad to be back!
