The Dobbins are having a Lobster Boil!

Ive always wanted to have a Lobster boil. I love love Lobster, Shrimp, Crab and all things seafood. Im planning a trip to Maine and Cape Cod,next Summer so I can see the lighthouses and beaches, but mostly to consume as much Seafood including LOBSTER as humanely possible. LOL  

The Mermaid is made of IRON and is a Bottle opener and super heavy. I love Mermaids. Always have! Its hard to pass anything with a cool mermaid on it. (Im a PISCES , the fish, but I think of myself more as a Mermaid, I LIVE in the water most of the time!)

Ive been collecting the linens, dishes, and accessories for a few months from various places all over the place. The boil will be next weekend. I was just setting the table by the pool today to see how it all went together.  Ill post pics of the actual boil next weekend!  It will be interesting since my husband hates seafood, ill be doing all the cooking, including Grilling His steak he will eat instead! LOL!  He at Bar B Qd STINGRAY when we went to Singapore, but not Lobster? WTHeck? lol 

My 2 grandsons will be here too, as our son before he heads off to college. It will be a fun time, the 5 of us!

Our son Scott, is like me, He will Try anything. he loves Crayfish too and ate so many at a friends party that she had to make him stop to leave some for the others. He will eat CALAMARI (Squid) and all sorts of things. Hes my adverntourous child.  After my own heart.  Have a beautiful weekend! Im off in a bit to photograph Keisha & Jakes wedding!
