Busy week!

DIVINE CALLING!

Wow today I got to photograph the most awesome band! Its the Christian Band called "DIVINE CALLING". These guys are good! Wow, what a voice Lead singer Amber and Hannah have! These guys are fun and amazing too. Im going to have to start helping them to get booked around town more! They are super talented! Guitarist Ruben and his mom chose me for this job and I so appreciated it!

Lazy days of summer!

Sorry I haven't been around much, we are on vacation all week. Will return on Tuesday!

Where we are has mountains around us and is really bad for WiFi and cells. We are scuba diving, lying in the shade of the cotton wood trees gazing at the super bright stars, and making s'mores! See you all soon! Happy Summer!

Heres me and Im feeding the fish, but am afraid of the black fish, he was aggressive and wanted my hot dog!

Our son scored the highest in his class and this week and got his certification open water in scuba diving this week! Yay Scott!

In your own backyard!

I'm always telling people that you don't have to look any further than your own backyard for peace, happiness, beauty and wonder! This guy was sitting on one of my benches while my grandson mowed our backyard. He wasn't afraid of anything. He just sat there for a while. He gave me time to get get my camera and focus and everything. When my grandson came by with the mower, he moved like 2 steps (do grasshoppers take steps?) and then stayed still. I love how you can see the tiny hairs on his legs and back. And the "claws" gripping the wood.
Although I'm not a fan of G.hoppers, I think that God makes the most wonderful creatures and hes interesting to say the least.
For my photographer friends this was shot at f 1.8/ 500/sec 100 ISO. with a 50mm lens.

Jackie Oh!

Wow, Wow Jackie was such a breath of fresh air! She is vivacious, funny, positive and witty. I liked her IMMEDIATLEY! We had a great time together. My assistant went with me on this shoot and we had a great time. Even though it was hotter than blazes and I had to stop to wipe sweat off my brow multiple times, Jackie looked cool as a cucumber most of the shoot. And look at those eyes, they are not contacts. They are both BLUE and Green. Ive never seen eye color like that! She reminds me a lot of 50s and 60s bombshell Ann Margret! Shes fun to talk with and during her viewing we chatted till 10 pm!

Cutie Pie Courtney!

Yes Her eyes really are that blue!




Courtney was so much fun! She made me laugh and laugh. Shes a hoot! And I made her laugh too. This girl is smart! I think she could be anything she wants to be. I tried to talk her into being a chef...But she made me guess what she wants to be when she grows up (lol!) and I guessed right! I said a musician in an orchestra!
She is a great girl, she came all the way from Grand Prairie! She is the Drum Major in her high school band and a great person. She has the prettiest crystal blue eyes! I mean they are seriously light blue! Thank you Courtney and Erin, it was a lot of fun! (They liked my impressions too, and I loved hers! If you don't know I can talk with a British accent, a redneck one (git 'er done!) and others. She has a perfect Scottish accent. We had a blast!

What would we do without Veternarians?

This lady has gone to the dogs! She is an amazing Veternairan and works at the Callfield Companion animal Clinic! Shes a caring, sweet, wonderful doctor and it was my privledge to get to photograph Dr. Sultemeier with her 2 doggies!

Happy 4th of July weekend!

My grandson Tristan and I made cupcakes today! Isnt he a cutie pie?! How much do we love this boy?




I shot these images today in our backyard. Even though its cloudy and raining off and on, we are not going to let that ruin our plans for this weekend. I hope you'll all go out to Freedom Fest at Sheppard Air Force base today and enjoy what they've thrown together. My friend Devin Williams will be singing too and Wade Bowen! Pics to come later.
In the meantime, I need one more glass of homemade Lemonaide! ENJOY and Be safe everyone!

The weather turned out really pretty and the fireworks show was awesome! We went to freedom fest and had a great time, there were thousands of people there though! I shot these images from our front lawn. We have the best view of the fireworks display every year.
