VA VA VOOM BRIDE!

Im glad to be back from my trip and back to work. What a way to start the week off than by photographing a beautiful bride? Isn't she a gorgeous Bride? She was such a natural in front of the camera, due to her modeling and acting experience! Its a photographers dream when you get a beautiful and confident bride in front of your lens. And THAT DRESS IS TO DIE FOR!! Its the most gorgeous Spanish Lace! Congratulations to you M. and D. I wish you the best~!

VEGAS BABY!

Sorry I haven't been around. I just returned from 6 days in Las Vegas where I attended a Photographic workshop on Business.

It was my 2nd time to attend this workshop and it was very enlightening. It sharpened m y business skills and also learned some great new Photographic Techniques. In the evening hours, when we were out of Class, we got to see a bit of Vegas, (that was my 5th visit to the City) and saw the dancing waters at the Bellagio hotel. Ill admit, it was very impressive and the song "My heart will go on, by Celine Dion" Played, and I actually wept! It was so moving!!!!

The best part was that my Best Friend Francie, of 33 years and her husband were there too! He has a wedding and portrait studio in Canyon Texas, and we attended the seminar together. We went to Peter Liks gallery in the Forum at Caesers Palace and Tom bought his "America" book. It was a great time! http://www.peterlik.com/

What a wonderful time. Las Vegas has so much more to offer than meets the eye. Its always good to get home, however, I was wearing short sleeved shirts and enjoying the sunshine there and it was quite a shock as I exited the airport at DFW and that wind hit me!
Glad to be back home, Ill catch up on Emails and calls Monday.

Little Landry!

This is precious little Landry! She has been coming for her pictures since she was born and her sister too! She is such a doll and just celebrated her 2nd birthday!
Her momma and sister always brighten my day. We got a lot of pics of her playing with her dolls and doll clothes. Shes such a cutie pie.Thanks Melody, I so appreciate you guys!

A Girl and Her Pooch

I had a great time with Amy and her Shih zu Rocky! Amy is a sweet girl, her dad is a pastor and I've known her for almost a year. Shes very sweet and has the cutest laugh. Thanks Amy for a fun day!

Tiffany Blue Wedding in Oahu Hawaii IHILANI RESORT

I don't normally post weddings on my blog, I always think they are private affairs and I post them in a private password protected area, but this wedding in Hawaii was so beautiful and the couple so gracious that I just couldn't help myself. Many thanks to Dave and Michelle Miyamoto for letting me tag along, and all their hospitality the week while I was there.

Hawaiian Wedding!

Were back home!

Well we are back from Hawaii. It was a great 7 days! I cant wait to tell you more about the trip.

Here's a shot of me on Waikiki with the parrots. I had this shot done 15 years ago last time I was there, so I had to do it again. The guys that worked there were great, especially DINO! These Parrots are heavy but so cute and were very well behaved. except for one that was trying to nibble on my flower! haha The place is called "Parrot-Dise. " cute.

Unfortunately my husband had to work most of the days so he didn't get to go with me, and the parrots were gone at night. In the background is the famous Diamond head dormat Volcano!

It was a great trip and the weather was awesome.

I'm happy to be back home. It took me 12 hours total to get back. But it was worth it.

later today I will be Blogging some photos of the Awesome wedding that I got to shoot with Dave and Michelle Miyamoto. They were great and so wonderful to me. Their Hawaiian hospitality and all they did for me while I was there was fabulous! They opened their home and hearts to me and I'll never forget it.

I look forward to visiting them again!

I love Waikiki beach and the North Shore, and the Mahi Mahi and the Mai Tais, and the local people and the warm trade breezes and.....

On the North Shore...

Today I had a great time shooting on the North Shore with my friend Dave Miyamoto! He took me to the North Shore and it was amazing!!! The light was fabulous. The dad used to be stationed at Sheppard AFB and lived in Wichita Falls. Now they live here. Where is here? To be announced on Thursday. By the way, the children were so sweet, they all gave me hugs before we even started the photo shoot and were so precious the entire time! Thanks to my friend Dave again. You were so much fun!
