Just wanted to leave y'all with this, Its Friday, but my weeks not over, I work Saturdays too ( I actually work 6 and 7 days a week, with doing all the graphic design. I'm experiencing some Carpel Tunnel syndrome and its been very painful since November 12th. I wake up at night and my hand is killing me (and forearm). I may have to hire a graphic artist soon. I just work way way too much. Btu I'm so glad to do it and don't want to let any of you down.
So if you know of a graphic artist tell them to send me a resume!
Ive already contacted MSU and one other source. I wont be blogging as much, because the typing is inflaming it and making it worse. My sister had to have surgery and my best friend did too They both had to give up their occupations because of it. Hope I don't, but I do know one thing. That when God closes a door, he always opens a window. I am sort of strange in that way.
I really don't mind bad things happening to me, because I know there is always opportunity in them! As the saying goes, In the end everything will be okay, so if its not Okay, then its not the end! Or what doesnt kill you makes you stronger! So bring on the challenges!
My mom used to joke that she could give my sister a pony and she wouldn't be happy, but that she could give me a bucket of Horse Poop and I would say."You cant fool me, where there is horse poop, threes got to be a pony!"
I really do almost like it when things go awry or wrong, because that's Gods way of rearranging things for something really really good to happen!
When my first marriage fell apart (we were only 21 and he wouldnt work or support us.) it was a blessing because I found a much much better husband and life than before!
When I got fired from my factory job at Texas Instruments (I worked the midnight to 7 a.m. shift and I would fall asleep at my station ! When I got fired, Sure I lost a lot of possessions and didn't even have a car for a few years, but i got a bicycle and I started taking classes in Photography! I had to live in a tiny one bedroom and wait tables long long hours, but I never would of discovered my love of photography! (My boss there encouraged me at that little Chinese Restaurant SAKURA! (Thanks Debbie Chu!)
When i was 14 years old and the class bully beat me up on the last day of school and broke my jaw in 2 places, guess what? I lost 15 lbs and gained a lot of friends!
When one of my best friends betrayed me and stabbed me in the back (She was depressed and was lashing out.) I moved to a new town where I landed an amazing job as a Newspaper Photographer!
I honestly don't mind bad things happening. And here's the final thing. When I was kidnapped by a knife wielding man at night in a parking lot and held at knife point for several hours, guess what? God spoke to me and kept me safe and I found a new Church home. (That was in 1988.)
Unfortunately he hurt another girl 2 weeks later really bad and he was put away for life.
God has always protected me. When my husband and I had plans to celebrate our wedding anniversary by flying to New York City, we planned the trip for 6 months and then I came down with Phenomena the day before, and we had to cancel all our amazing plans we had. But then guess what happened? Sept 11th happened! We would of been there and seen all the horror up close. (Our hearts broke for eveeryone affected by it, and my husbands fellow pilots killed in 2 of the crashes with United Airlines that day.)
God has always protected me and my family, and I have no doubt he always will.! and if for some reason I'm called home by him, then I wont be sad because I will be with him! So honestly, Whom shall I fear?
So have a blessed weekend, and don't fear change, or challenges or hard times, because God will protect you and use that for Good.!
