Yesterday I got to participate in a fun event. Each year around this time, the schools have a program called GROUNDHOG JOB SHADOWING. This is where students get to announce what career they are interested in and then get to go and watch a professional business for a day.(9am-2:30 pm)
Ive done this for several years and I always enjoy it. I had 4 students yesterday and they were all great girls! We spent the morning answering questions and showing them how some retouching and slide shows of mine. Telling them about various cameras that I use and why and where I get them and equipment info.
Then I ordered Pizza for everyone and had lunch, then we spent the afternoon in the camera room and I showed them camera techniques and we shot a few images of one of the students.
It was a great day! Thanks Girls! I enjoyed it more than you know.
I love the saying "You make a Living by what you Get, You make a Life by what you Give." Yesterday I made a life. Thanks ladies!
