Once in a lifetime, if you are very very lucky, you might get to meet someone. Someone who becomes your friend, who sticks by your side through many years. You might move away from one another, but you still know the other one is out there, and they love you, even though you don't see each other much. But they are there. Because once someone lives in your heart and you share a love, then they are your friend for life. That's what my friend Francie and I have. I know she will always be there for me. Come what may. No matte what life deals us. I can have the most fun with her just playing a game of cards. She makes me want to be a better person. I think of mischievous things to do when I'm with her. She brings out the practical joker in me. Shes got me in trouble, when I was a teenager. But I know that the best of times lie ahead. I may get to go and visit her this weekend. ( I HOPE I HOPE I HOPE).
I have been lucky enough to know her for 30 years. (e-gads that's a long time, where do the time go?)
I hope you are lucky enough to have a friend like her. Everyone needs a Francie. Life would be really sad and dull without a Francie in your life. I love her with all my heart.
