Wow, Last night the Dogs won again! It was Senior Night and the boys dominated the field again. The weather was cool and crisp and just cold enough to feel like winter, but not so cold as we were uncomfortable. Sipping hot chocolate and watching the DOGS Kick butt.
I actually felt sad for Hirschi because they kept getting up and trying again. Their band was pretty good too, they played a great rendition of "Papa was a rolling stone." I always have respect for anyone who when they get knocked down, get right back up and they did.
I have so enjoyed these games, sitting next to my mother in law and father in law and sipping hot chocolate and shaking my cow bell and watching our son give his all on the field. He was covered in sweat and even bleeding from someones cleats cutting his leg. The band, the cool air, the cheering and screaming, the excitement, theres nothing like football. Way to go Dawgs! They get a week off and then its off to playoffs. Most likely China Springs near Waco, or Burnet. We're proud of you Dawgs! Photos to come soon, Im off to C Magic!
