Wow, This winning streak just keeps going and going, no doubt to the talent that the Burkburnett Bulldogs possess this year! They won against Iowa Park 28-7.
I'm so proud of them I could bust! Its amazing how they walk in and own the field. They are hardworking boys. This makes their record 8-1 now. Aaaaaa mazing!
Thursday night we Fed the dogs. My husband cooked his famous FAJITAS! Let me tell you, when he cooks those fajitas he marinates them for a minimum of 24-32 hours.
But he wont let me see what the marinade is. (Ive dug through the waste can afterwards and Ive found beer bottles and Lemons. But that's the only clues I can gain from my trash foraging efforts!)
The boys ate em up! I was taking a nap Thursday afternoon after my last photo shoot, (I am the girl who loved naps as a kid, when the kindergarten teacher made us lay down on our little mats in the middle of the day for a short time. I still like to close my curtains and make the room as dark as possible and snuggle up with pillows and go nite nite for about 30-45 minutes each afternoon before Dinner.
My dad used to do it and he has always looked a lot younger than his age! He's 80 and asked me the other day if I thought it was too late for him to be a stunt man. (I am not kidding.)
So I awoke, to the smell of onions and bell peppers sauteing in oil oil and the whrrr whrrr whrrr sound of my husbands new electric knife slicing through the delicious juicy moist fajita meat. HEAVEN!
The boys loved them and we fed them about 30 lbs of the stuff.
Both chicken and beef and the other moms provided all the trimmings, sour cream, cheese, refried beans, rice, and BROWNIES! yummy!
So I guess those muscle-building protein fajitas helped the boys win thier game last night. (or not) But It was fun. Gosh I love these boys. They are great!
Sweaty and stinky, but great! They deserve to win and with their awesome coaches, I Think they will go far!
Thanks for letting me brag on my boys.
