My mother in law never forgets us on Saint Valentines day. She always sends us some love in the mail. Even when we were in Japan, she never forgot us. Yesterday she sent CHOCOLATE! and a homemade card. I always look forward to her packages.
She was kind enough to send me some 100 calorie Reeses for me too!
I am decorating the house this morning for our Valentines Dinner and I made this little "still life" from the Hershey Kisses she sent!

To find out more about where Valentines Day originated. It came from ROME and the Christian Church. St. Father Valentine who secretly married couples against the emporers law.February 14th is the day he was executed (how sad!) Cupid began as the Roman God of Love and we still use that symbol today.
