We are back home from our Ski trip! 6 days of fun, skiing, snowboarding, sipping Hot Cocoa, we even went on a Sleigh Ride one night with 2 2,000 pound horses!It was so wonderful. We stayed in a beautiful cabin all 8 of us.
(My husband and I, our 2 children, and our son in law and 2 grandchildren, plus a friend of our sons)
I cooked huge pots of chili, stew and we grilled Steaks. We toasted marshmallows and sat in the Jacuzzi Hot tub overlooking beautiful rolling hills of pine trees.
WOW. I always look forward to that every year.
Our son is turning into quite the snowboarder! HE snowboarded for 4 straight Days and went down many Black Expert runs. Our little grandson (Tristan who is 9) also learned how to snowboard and had a blast! On day 3, he even went down one Black Run!
Im so proud of him. He was scared going up the Gondola to the Peak of Sierra Blanca (11,000 feet above sea level.)
This is the place that my husband and I dated and got to know each other so long ago, so we love returning with our family.
This year we stayed longer than usual, and it was so wonderful.
