My Daughter and I, how time flies.

Back when i was a young mother, I chose a photography studio in my town to have a portrait created of me and our 6 month old daughter Misty.

The studio I chose was called "Morgans Studio" in Odessa and it was owned by an older woman. Her photography was just beautiful and her portraits graced the covers of magazines including "American Baby". She also photographed my Senior Portraits.

She was a nice lady but astute business woman and sadly, I hear she has passed away now.

I just wanted to show you all this image of my daughter and I. Guess when this photo was taken?

26 1/2 years ago! That baby is now 26 1/2 years old. Now SHE has a 6 month old baby boy and Im going to do one just like this of she and him this month. (they live in Odessa.)

Just thought Id share with you. The photographer Mrs. Morgan was one of the many reasons I because a photographer. She was professional and very picky about her work. My family all treasures this image. One funny thing, I remember my husband threw a fit because I spent so much money. Guess how much? $109.00! Considering our rent then was only $275 a month that was a lot of money. (And he made $6 per hour) You couldnt give me $5,000. for this portrait now. It means the world to me.

Just thought Id share this with you. Ill post the one of my daughter and her 6 month old baby as soon as we shoot it! Shes a wonderful mom to her 2 boys and I cant wait to immortalize them like this.

PS yes, I am a natural brunette, (I was a natural blonde until I got pregnant with my daughter then it turned dark! It was down to my rear end back then and you can see the ends were blonde from before. That was natural sun bleached. I do have it highlighted now to look like my high school days. hee hee.
