I love to photograph children who've been adopted. I think there is something so wonderful and special about them. MY own husband was adopted at birth and he feels lucky to have been "chosen".
I know so many people who have said that "GOD PUT IT ON MY HEART TO ADOPT".
I wanted to tell you about a wonderful program that helps with the expenses of adoption. Adoption can be very expensive. Christian music singer Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife have 6 children and 3 of them are adopted.
Their first adopted childs name is Shaohannah Hope, for which the foundation is named after. See the link here.http://members.shaohannahshope.org/site/PageServer This organization gives grants to aid in the adoption process. It is not a 100% fee which completely covers all the expenses, but is meant to be a shot in the arm, and to "set a fire" in which your local church or community can raise funds and help to raise the remainder of the funds for the adoption.
